With the LPC and BPTC just starting, Hardee Consulting is launching a new service to help law firms and barristers\u2019 chambers obtain best value from the Legal Practice Course and Bar Professional Training Course, respectively.<\/p>\n
Firms and chambers will obtain the benefit of the LPC or BPTC only if their students actually apply themselves and take the Course seriously.\u00a0 If students do not, then it can mean additional, possibly, duplicate training once later, or a much slower start to practise.<\/p>\n
What tends to make students apply themselves is the knowledge that their future employer is watching their performance and progress, and that they are not invisible. There is also benefit to be had from engaging with your students during the year of the Course so that students approach the year of the their vocational training as the start of their practising career, rather than their last year of freedom.<\/p>\n
